Media Buzz: Goutam Ghose's next Indo-Bangladesh joint venture Bengali movie Moner Manush (The Quest) is scheduled to release today in both India and Bangladesh.

The movie Moner Manush, which has already won the Golden Peacock at the 41st International Film Festival of India (IFFI-2010) have nearly 110 prints already released worldwide and expected to have a big release even in Bangladesh & India today.
The Indo-Bangladesh joint venture movie Moner Manush is based on Sunil Gangopadhyay’s novel on Lalan Fakir, which focuses on the life and work of the 19th-century Bengali philosopher-poet Lalan Fakir, where Prosenjit Chatterjee played the key role as Lalon and Bangladeshi renowned actor Chanchal Chowdhury played as Kalu Mridha. Bangladeshi producer Habibur Rehman Khan has joined hands with Kolkata producer Goutam Kundu to make this film.
Among other Paoli Dham, Soumitra Chatterji (as Kabiraj), Champa (as Lalan's mother), Raisul Islam Asad (as Siraj Sain), Nazmul Huda Bachchu, Priyanshu Chatterjee also played different role in the movie.
Impress Telefilm, Ashirbad Chalochitro & Rose Bally Films worked together to release the film in both Bangladesh and India.
